RYE BROOK, N.Y. -- The Business Council of Westchester has a new address, and it’s at one of Westchester’s premier office buildings.
The Business Council recently moved its headquarters from Corporate Park Drive in White Plains to 800 Westchester Ave. in Rye Brook, where it is leasing about 4,400 square feet of office space.
“We are very excited to have our new headquarters at one of Westchester’s finest office buildings. The location on Westchester Avenue is fantastic, and our new office space is absolutely beautiful. And the building’s amenities are truly outstanding,” said Marsha Gordon, president and CEO of The Business Council of Westchester.
Among the first-class amenities at 800 Westchester Ave. are a fitness center, elegant cafeteria with executive dining room, conference center and indoor parking. “Our new headquarters location is a significant move for the Business Council and strengthens our position as Westchester’s most prestigious and influential business organization,” she said.
With its domed atrium, pure white façade and dramatic setting, 800 Westchester Ave. has been Westchester’s most visible corporate landmark for over 20 years. Originally built as General Food’s worldwide headquarters in the 1980s, the 532,568-square-foot complex is owned by RPW Group. Founded by Robert Weisz, RPW Group is one of Westchester's and Fairfield County, Conn.'s largest commercial real estate developers with more than 3 million square feet of office, retail and warehouse space.
“We are particularly pleased to have Robert Weisz as our new landlord. His company’s reputation for high quality and exceptional service is unmatched,” said Gordon.
“We are extremely pleased to have The Business Council of Westchester as our new tenant at 800 Westchester Ave.," said Robert Weisz, president of RPW Group. "Everyone at RPW Group looks forward to a long and successful relationship with the Business Council of Westchester."
